About me

Welcome to "Remember Your Karma". The name comes from a sign in a great bead shop in Boone, NC: The Bead Box. They have it posted as a warning to those who might be tempted to take something that is not their own. I like it since it also means to me: 1. what goes around, comes around and 2. treat others as you want to be treated. I also like the Indian/Hindu aspect of it since I find that culture so colorful, beautiful and fascinating. I took the user name "kheli" as an "Indian-ized" version of my given name - Kelly.

This blog started as a personal diary, complete with rants and raves, but has since evolved into a refuge dedicated to sewing, fabric, quilting, fabric, inspiration, fabric, pets, fabric and a sprinkling of family. At one point (in 2008) it was my travel diary for my trip to China. I try to keep it light, friendly and positive as there is enough negativity in the world.

I have been married to my sweet hubby since 1983.

 We have an awesome son.

And currently 2 big dogs.
Sarge - Belgian Malinois

I love seeing new places, trying new things and meeting new people. I feel our differences make us interesting, but as humans we are all more alike than not.

I love to create things and quilting seems to be the medium for me after many years and many media in my artistic endeavors.

Thank you for visiting. Thank you for reading.
And feel free to email me or leave a comment.
